i2iGUY’s 2009 NFL Pigskin Picks Week 8

October 31st, 2009 by i2iGUY
You cant win if you dont play

You cant win if you don't play

The best investment in these hard economic times.

The best investment in these hard economic times.

CHA-CHING ! Week 7 I went 5 for 5 on the CHA-CHING picks. They were solid gold, money inthe bank. That makes me 25 for 33, 76% on the year for the big picks ! On the big picture, my picks for all the games is not doing so well. last week I went 6 for 13, OUCHocinco baby, which makes me 55 for 103, 53% on the year. Well the good news is the CHA-Ching picks are solid and paying off BIG TIME.

Home vs visitor, spread

CHA-CHING

Colts vs 49ers, +12.5 pts - The Colts are undefeated and Peyton manning is on a tear with Reggie Wayne reporting back into the line up which is bad news for the 49ers. They finally got Crabtree to sign and he looks good real good. Alex Smith came in for Shaun Hill and got the 49er passing attack moving. However, Smith is not consistent, so the Colts win and win big covering the spread.

Chargers vs Raiders +16.5 pts - The Chargers have been playing extremely well lately and are at full strength. The Raiders after their fluke win against the eagles returned to form last week getting demolished by the Jets. The Raiders may suck, but they are consistent as in consistently BAD. They continue to live up to their consistency getting wiped out by the Chargers this week. S.D. easily covers the 16.5 spread.

Saints vs Falcons +9.5 pts - Drew Brees is the bees knees and his come from behind victory over the Dolphins has made a believer out of me. The falcons got a lot of things going for them, but they are not reeady to beat an elite team. Despite the fact that they are divisional rivals, the Saints will open up a big lead and easily beat the Falcons. Cha-Ching.

Best of the rest

Bills vs Texans -3.5 - The Texans are showing signs of life and they definitely look like the might sneak into the playoffs this year as a wild card. The Bills are a mess and after slugging it out last week against the Jets, they are in for a crash landing. Take the Texans to cover.

Bears vs Browns +13.5 - The Bears are very inconsistent and part of the blame lies with the erratic play of jay Cutler. The Browns are a mess as well, but as they say “the sun shines on every dogs ass once in a while”, so take the Browns to keep it close.

Cowboys vs Seahawks +9.5 - The Cowboys got a big win over the Falcons last week, but they just aren’t consistent with their play. The Seahawks are only as good as the play of their QB and Hasselbeck is due for a good day, so take the Hawks to keep it close if not outright win the game.

Lions vs Rams +3.5 - The who gives a shit game of the weak. I’m taking the Rams to win one on the road for no particular reason.

Jets vs Dolphins, +3.5 pts - The Jets just aren’t that good. they got off to a lucky start, but reality has caught up with them. The Dolphins aren’t that much better, but their D and maybe a few Wildcat plays will be the difference. The calls to bench rookie sensation Sanchez get louder in the big Apple. Take the Dolphins.

Ravens vs Broncos +3.5. - The Broncos are for real and who have thunk it (unbeaten too). The Ravens are a good team as well and have lost a coulple of close games they almost could have won. This week the ball bounces the Ravens way just like it did week one, when the Broncos should have lost to the Bengals, but didn’t thanks to that lucky bounce. Take the Ravens and the unbeatens fall to 2 (Colts and Saints).

Eagles vs Giants +2.5 pts - The Eagles finally figured out how to beat a really bad team last week. Thank goodness for that, because if they had lost to the redskins after losing to the Raiders, heads were going to roll. This week however, the Eagles will be brought back to earth and exposed as only a average team. The Giants want to wrap up the division and this is a big game for them. Eli will have a big game as the Eagles continue to confuse fans and pundits by rotating in Micheal Vick for no apparent good reason. Take the G men.
Titans vs Jaguars +2.5 pts - The jaguars are mediocre at best. the Titans flat out suck, however with the owner calling for Vince Young to start, the Titans will roar back to life. Superman will lead the hapless Titans to their first victory !

Packers vs Vikings +3.5 - So far its been a fairy tale season for Brett Farve. But you know what they say “pay backm is a bitch”. Karma has a way of evening things out and what comes around goes around, so the tables are turned with Aarron Rodgers having a brett favre like performance and leading the Pack to victory. The cheeseheads go crazy at lambough field !

Cardinals vs Panthers +9.5 pts - This Cardinals are actually looking like a good team. Warner is playing well and their defense seems to be getting better every week. The exact opposite of that is the Panthers. This game is an easy call. take the Cards to win and cover.

Are you ready for some football.

Ressesion is having negative impact on auto repair industry.

Can we take you over ? Yes we can !

Can we take you over ? Yes we can !

The success of president Obama’s “Cash for clunkers” program is still being debated by the political pundents. What cannot be debated, is the fact that the federal government’s program to assist auto sales disrupted the natural flow and progression of the auto repair industry. Removing thousands of vehicles from the pipeline supporting the repair industry. The government’s intrusion via the President’s “cuop d’état” of the auto industry by taking ownership of GM and Chrysler has had at best, flat results. GM and Chrysler are both still bearing the brunt of the slow down in auto sales. As part of the governments takeover, hundreds of dealerships were closed along with their repair and service operations. Car owners are now facing an even more difficult process of servicing and repairing their vehicles.

Websites like Repairpal.com now offer information on repair services. If you were to search for an autio service in your area such as “San Francisco auto repair” the website gives you a link where you will find additional information on repair services. Likewise you can search by make, such as “Honda Accord” to get a link giving a listing of Honda Accord repair services, or by repair, like “timing belt” for a link to information on making the repair yourself ! The internet has many other sites that help with auto repair. More and more services and mechanics are finding that they need to be online to survive the economic downturn as well.
As the economy continues its ressesion / depression with unemployment skyrocketing above 10%, the auto repair industry continues to suffer as well, making service difficult for customers. Finding qualified, and reputable mechanics and shops is critical to getting good service. Sites like Repairpal.com are giving customers who need repairs options. Its as simple as surfing to their website.

i2iGUY’s 2009 NFL Pigskin Picks Week 5

You cant win if you dont play

You cant win if you don't play

The best investment in these hard economic times.

The best investment in these hard economic times.

CHA-CHING ! Except for the Bungholes who did not cover, making me 2 for 3, which is not good enough. It must be 100% for CHA-CHING ! For week 4 I was 10 for 14 against the spread. For the season I am 10 for 16 @ 65% for my CHA-CHING picks and 35 of 62 @ 56% for all the games. This week offers a bonafide bonaza of solid picks to choose from to get your PAY DAY.

Home vs visitor, spread

CHA-CHING

Lions vs Steelers -10.5 pts - The Steelers got their mojo back last week dismantling the Chargers. With a re-established runnig attack, look for big Ben to turn it on. take the Steelers to win and cover.

Giants vs Raiders +16.5 pts - Eli has a sore foot, but it won’t matter. david carr can run this team against the Silver and Black, hell I could QB against the RAIDERS. The Giants will shut-out and blow-out the Raiders.
Eagles vs Buccaneers +13.5 pts - The Eagles will be flying high with Mcnabb back at the helm. Everyone will get in on the fun including Micheal Vick as the Eagles pour it on. Take the Eagles.

Broncos vs Patriots -3.5 - The Patriots have their mojo back as well. despite having some injuries, Tom Brady and the defense will be the difference. Coach McDaniels is not ready to take out his mentor. Take the Pats.

Titans vs Colts -3.5 - The Colts are on a roll and will continue to roll over the Titans, sending them to 0-5. Take Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Rams vs Vikings -10.5 - Brett farve and Adrian peterson will go OFF ! The Viking crush the hapless Rams by shutting them out in a blow-out.

Ravens vs Bengals +8.5 - The Ravens lost a hard fought battle last week to the Pats. look for them to take it out on the Bengals who had to go into over time last week to eek out a win over the Browns. Take the Ravens.

Best of the rest

Bills vs Browns +6.5 pts - The Browns are terrible and their trading away their best receiver (Edwards) won’t help them. Even if T.O. is a no-show, the Bills should have enough to beat the Browns bad.

Chiefs vs Cowboys -8.5. - The Cowboys are anything but consistent this season, so take the poijnts and the Chiefs.

Panthers vs Redskins +3.5 pts - This is the who gives a shit game of the weak. Take the Panthers at home to cover.

49ers vs Falcons +2.5 pts - This should be a black and blue battle. It’s really a toss-up, but I’m going to go with the 49ers at home.

Seahawks vs Jaguars +.5 - Hasselbach may be back, but it won’t be enough. The Jaguars play tuff and eek out a win.

Cardinals vs Texans +5.5 pts - This game is a toss up, but I will take the cards coming off a bye and at home. Warner lights it up. Take the Cardinals.

Dolphiins vs Jets -1.5 - This will be another slugfest. Sanchez’s honeymoon with the NFL is over. Now teams have some footage to study and their defenses will be harder for him to handlle. The Dolphins get their first win.

Are you ready for some football.

i2iGUY’s 2009 NFL Pigskin Picks Week 4

October 3rd, 2009 by i2iGUY
You cant win if you dont play

You cant win if you don't play

The best investment in these hard economic times.

The best investment in these hard economic times.

CHA-CHING ! Now that’s more like it (3 for 3).  For the second week in a row  I was 9 for 16 against the spread. For the season I am 8 for 13 @ 69% for my CHA-CHING picks and 25 of 48 @ 52% for all the games. After rebounding on my CHA-CHING picks, I am ready for my second trip of the NFL regular season to Reno to win big money. I am going to stay conservative with 3 BONAFIDE winners along with a couple of other games worthy of parlay action.

Home vs visitor, spread

CHA-CHING

Browns vs Bengals -6 pts - The Bengals are on a roll. The Browns are on a roll too. A roll of toilet paper to wipe their collective asses after taking a shit three weeks in a row. The Browns are a mess and the misery continues despite coach Mangina demoting Quinn to the bench. The Bengals easily cover the spread and win over the inept brown stains.

Chiefs vs Giants -13.5 pts - The G men are playing solid. The Chiefs are another team trying to get their shit together. However it won’t be this week. The Giants win and win big.

Colts vs Seahawks +10 pts - The Colts are back at home and begining to gel. Several receivers are stepping up to replace Marvin Harrison’s departure, so look for Peyton to unleash the arial attack against the Seahawks porous D. Hasselback is still not back, so the Seahawks woes continue. Take the Colts to cover.

Other potential winners

Patriots vs Ravens +2 - The Patriots are getting back into shape despite injuries to several key players. The ravens are playing well as well. Brady vs Flaaco will be a shoot out. This will come down to which defense can stop the others O at least two or three times. Turn overs will be key as well. Take the Patriots to cover and re-establish themselves as a contender as well as regaining 1st in the AFC east.

Saints vs Jets +7 - the jets have been riding high for several weeks and their success goes way beyond their super star rookie QB Sanchez. This will be another shoot-out, but I like Drew Brees and company to pull ahaead as the game progresses. The Saints have too many weapons and Sanchez is due a rookie mistake, can you say “interception”. The Saints win and easily cover.

Bears vs Lions +10 - The Lions got their one win last week against the Redskins and now they should bounce back to form (really sucking). The Bears are starting to believe in Jay Cutler’s arm and he shows them why. After Chicago got bitch slapped losing the 2016 Olympics to Rio, they take it out on the poor Lions.

Dolphins vs Bills -1.5 - The Bills have Marshall Lynch back and T.O. has to show sooner or later. The warm weather in Miami will get his popcorn poppping. The Dolphins lost Pennington last week and now they are done, so put a fork in them. The wildcat offense won’t help them save their season. Take the Bills.

Best of the rest

Texans vs Raiders +9 pts - The Silver and Black are a mess. Jamarcus Russel sucks, just ask the raider fans back in Oakland. On the road, there will be no denying it as he chucks up possibly a NFL record number of picks. Add to that some fumbles by Mcfadden and you have another laugher rout of a game. Just what the Texans need to get back in the hunt in the AFC south. Remeber the Alamo, because if you are a raider fan you will not want to remember this disaster. Take theTexans.

Jaguars vs Titans -3. - The Titans are a mere shadow of the team they were last season. This is a divisional game, so it could be a slug fest, however the Jaguars will get back on track winning this game. The Titans will be 0-4, who have thunk that ?

Redskins vs Bucs +7.5 pts - This is the who gives a shit game of the weak. Take the Skins at home to win and cover the scoreless Bucs.

49ers vs Rams +9.5 pts - The 49ers are better than expected, however they have an ability to choke and make things closer than they have to be. The Rams are pretty bad, but this is a divisional game so they wiill keep it close. Take the Rams and the points.

Broncos vs Cowboys -3 - Everybody thought the Cowboys would be a really good team this year. They won last week, but I’m not convinced. This will be an upset and a surprise as the Broncos go to 4-0.

Steelers vs Chargers +6 pts - The Chargers have won their last two games, but they have not beaten the Steelers in Pittsburgh during the regular season. The Steelers have taken it on the chin as the reigning superbowl champs. They regain their poise and pride by tuffing out a win this week.

Vikings vs Packers +3.5 - This is the game of the week. Bad blood already between these two teams and now we have Farve wearing purple. The Packers are seeing red fo sure. The difference in this game will be the QB’s. The legend of Brett Farve will continue as the Vikings get a big win in a game that is sure to be a black and blues festival for both teams.

Are you ready for some football.
